Marcus, 22, aged out of foster care and was couch-surfing when he was referred to Alturos. With no stable job and no family to fall back on, he was discouraged.
Through Alturos’s Mentor Match + Housing Stability support, Marcus connected with a life coach, received temporary housing assistance, and attended vocational training. Today, he works as a licensed electrician’s apprentice and volunteers with Alturos to mentor others.
